What?!
“The nature of God is a circle of which the center is everywhere and the circumference is nowhere.” ~ Empedocles
It doesn’t get much clearer than that. Seriously. God, quite simply, is everywhere, at all times, and in all circumstances. There is never a place or a time that you can come to that God is not already present. This may boggle — and even confound — the mind but it is nonetheless true and should bring a great deal of comfort because we will never have to worry about going it alone.
We are still in the midst of the Easter season, a season that proclaims as vividly as possible the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is another example of the fact that God is everywhere at all times since God was even present in death, the death of His Son.
When we get to the end of our lives here on earth, there is not a vacuum of nothingness awaiting us. Instead, there is God, a God who loves us completely and who will never leave our side. That knowledge is profound and definitely worth proclaiming.
FAITH ACTION: You may not understand how but rest assured that wherever you go, whatever you do, God is right there with you and for you.
