The Lord comes;
he comes to rule the earth;
He will rule the world with justice
and the peoples with equity. (Ps 98:9)
We are still in the midst of the Christmas season.
During this season, we remember that the Lord has come. Jesus was born in our world, in the wonderful mystery of the Incarnation when He took on our flesh. He became a part of our history.
He was raised by Mary and Joseph. He grew in age and grace and wisdom.
He walked our lands, taught His people, and, ultimately, died on a cross.
Three days later, He rose from the dead.
Now, we await His return, when He will come “to rule the earth; He will rule the world with justice and the people with equity.”
The question is: Is He Lord of your life?
When He comes, will He recognize you as one of His loyal followers?
FAITH ACTION: Do not merely proclaim your belief in the Lord. Do something today to show that the Lord matters to you.
