When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.
And then a leper approached, did him homage, and said,
“Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”
He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said,
“I will do it. Be made clean.” (Mt 8:1-3a)
Willing.
That is a word that so aptly describes Jesus.
He was willing to become one of us.
He was willing to embrace the Father’s will.
He was willing to suffer and die for us.
He was willing to heal us.
He is so willing because His love for us knows no bounds.
Nothing is too big for Him.
He restored sight to the blind and sound to the deaf, He healed the leper, He raised the dead.
And, He continues to do so.
Why?
He loves us all!
FAITH ACTION: Jesus wills for us to be healed. In silence, bring your pains and your struggles to the Lord. Let Him take their burden from you.
