Keep On Doing
“Each generation has an obligation to pick up the baton.” ~ Valerie Jarrett
I have been faithful to my promise to write a meditation each day. I hope that they have been of help to you in your Christian living. Some have been easy to write, others have been more difficult. Some have been written more for others, some seemed to point to my own life when I would read what I had written.
While I percolate thoughts and reflections in my head constantly, there comes a point when I have to take the time to write them down. Each reflection takes me anywhere from fifteen minutes to a half hour to write. That might not seem like a lot of time but, when I have many other responsibilities, there are times that I have found it difficult to get one written. A few were posted right at 6:00 a.m., the “deadline” moment.
Writing has been a joy for me. Sometimes, the writings might appear muddled. That’s okay, that might have been my brain on that particular day. The older I get, the more muddled I become. Other times, the writing may have been very difficult because I couldn’t think of anything to say or, maybe, what I was writing about was a bit too uncomfortable.
What to do? Keep writing. Keep praying. Keep living the faith. Keep doing what you know the Lord would want you to do.
FAITH ACTION: Keep on doing. It’s that simple.
