Then the word of the Lord came to me:
Can I not do to you, house of Israel,
as this potter has done’ says the Lord.
Indeed, like clay in the hand of the potter,
so are you in my hand, house of Israel. (Jer 18:5-6)
Fragile.
Cared for.
Crafted.
Unique.
All hallmarks of a handmade work of art.
As clay in the hand of the potter, so we are to our God.
Each of us have been created unique. Each of us are fragile. Each of us are precious to our creator.
And that is the way we should live.
Too many people spend their lives looking for all the wrong things. They forget that they are special, already, in the sight of their maker.
This day, rest assured that the Lord who crafted you and called you into being loves you incredibly!
