Yesterday at 3:00 p.m., Fr. Ted brought me to the emergency room at Community. All day I was experiencing abdominal pain. The long and short of it is I have an umbilical hernia that is causing major pain.
This afternoon Dr. Dempsey will do surgery to repair the hernia. With any amount of luck, I will go home Saturday. The doctor told me recuperation would be seven to ten days. That’s going to be a killer for me!
