Let Go And Let God

30 Aug

The Spirit scrutinizes everything, even the depths of God.
Among men, who knows what pertains to the man
except his spirit that is within?  (1 Cor 2:10b-11)

St. Paul writes about the Holy Spirit, explaining that the Spirit is able to know all things.

Man, on the other hand?  He does not fare quite so well.

Paul would go on to say, “Now the natural man does not accept what pertains to the Spirit of God, for to him it is foolishness, and he cannot understand it.”

It is very true.

We, oftentimes, find ourselves very clueless when it comes to God at work in our lives.

However, all we need to do in those times is to trust in the Spirit.  The Spirit, who knows all and see all, will give us the direction we need if we just let it happen.

Fear keeps us from allowing God to work in our lives.  We are afraid of the uncertainty of letting go.

It is the only way that we will grow closer to God.

Let go this day.

FAITH ACTION:  Is there something that you have been uncertain about for a while?  Does it disturb you?  Do you find your faith being challenged?  Give it over to God today.  He will show you the way if you ask Him.
