Be Freed From Your Fears
Thus says the LORD:
Say to those whose hearts are frightened:
Be strong, fear not!
Here is your God,
he comes with vindication;
with divine recompense
he comes to save you. (Is 35:4)
God has given many a message to His people through the ages.
“Fear Not” is probably one of His biggest messages.
The message that was given to the Israelites by the Prophet Isaiah is the message given to Mary by Gabriel as well as to Joseph in a dream.
Fear not.
That message is given to us today as well.
Fear not.
There are so many things that frighten us today: war, insurrection, economic instability, poverty, famine, natural disasters, et cetera. The lack of control over so many areas of our lives also makes us fearful.
But God’s message over these thousands of years still has not changed and He wants us to remember it this day:
Fear Not!
FAITH ACTION: In prayer today, do the best that you can do to turn all of your fears over to the Lord. He not only can free you from them, He wants to free you from them. Give them to Him today.
