We receive from him whatever we ask,
because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
And his commandment is this:
we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ,
and love one another just as he commanded us.
Those who keep his commandments remain in him, and he in them,
and the way we know that he remains in us
is from the Spirit whom he gave us. (1 Jn 3:22-24)
Yesterday, we celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany, the time that Jesus manifested Himself to the world through the Magi.
We were reminded that Jesus is the light and that light was manifested so that we would have a beacon to follow.
So many times in our lives, we get lost. We are unsure of the way. We get bogged down by the demands of the world.
If we do, it might be because our faith in the Lord is wavering as we are put too much faith in ourselves.
Believe in Jesus, love one another as He loved us, and see your life change for the better!
FAITH ACTION: Are you troubled in the faith? Are you confident in the faith? Either way, ask the Lord to increase your faith this day.
