What Do You Think?

23 Mar

Now the Passover of the Jews was near,
and many went up from the country to Jerusalem
before Passover to purify themselves.
They looked for Jesus and said to one another
as they were in the temple area, “What do you think?
That he will not come to the feast?”  (Jn 11:55-56)

Apparently, the people asking the question did not know the Lord very well, did they?

After all, there was nothing that would keep Jesus away from His people.

Jesus knew that there were many waiting for Him to show so that they could make some move against Him.  That did not stop Him from going to Jerusalem.  He not only went, he went with great resolve.

There was nothing that would keep Jesus away from His people.

There IS nothing that keeps Jesus away from His people.

He is here, with us, leading us, guiding us, loving us, forgiving us, challenging us.

Thank God for that!
